Allan MacKinnon

Biography

Photographer Allan MacKinnon makes his home in Provincetown, MA, and Palm Springs, CA.

He spent much of his earlier life in the mountains of Colorado, and New Mexico where he managed communication arts people at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Allan has an innate understanding of composition and drama which is evident in his work. “I have a deep experiential love for the great outdoors and nature’s wonders are the subjects I most often pursue. When I’m immersed in nature, my mind explores and parses the landscape I see and am then able to capture with the camera.”
