Tom Bailey

Tom Bailey describes his painting style as “inadvertently impressionistic.” He strives to create paintings which evoke a particular emotion or perhaps rekindle a pleasant memory. As he says,” All of my paintings start at places I’ve actually been. Where they take me from there, however – or where I take them – is always an unplanned adventure.”

Tom is a full-time artist with a studio in Amesbury, MA. He also volunteers as a professional Firefighter and licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He is a Registered Maine Guide and Wilderness EMT.
Bailey grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Dartmouth College. Tom and his family divide their home between a small town north of Boston, MA and an even smaller town south of Keene, NH.
