Born in California, raised in Idaho, Darlou Gams received her BFA, Summa Cum Laude from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California. After graduation, she enjoyed success as an artist and illustrator before transitioning into a life as a full-time fine artist. With her illustration experience as a foundation, she uses the figure and the landscape as a canvas to explore color, design, shape, and texture. Darlou’s paintings are evolving expressions of the artist, her surroundings, and vision.
