Biography:
Born in California and raised in Idaho, Darlou Gams received her BFA, Summa Cum Laude from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. After graduating with distinction, she enjoyed success as a freelance artist and illustrator before transitioning into life as a full-time artist.

Darlou’s focus has been on the study of light, movement, color, design, and texture both in nature and the human form. Creating subjects from memory and imagination allows for balance between realism and the ethereal. Paintings become evolving expressions of her surroundings and vision.

Gams currently makes her home in New England. Her work is on display, in both private and corporate collections, throughout the world.
